Account Access Issues

Forgot PIN

If you've forgotten your PIN, follow these steps to regain access:

  1. Uninstall and reinstall the Betero Wallet application

  2. Select "I already have a wallet" from the welcome screen

  3. Enter your 12-word recovery phrase exactly as recorded

  4. Set a new 6-digit PIN when prompted

  5. Complete the wallet restoration process

⚠️ Important: Without your recovery phrase, access to your funds cannot be recovered. Betero has no access to your recovery phrase or private keys.

Transaction Management

Transaction Stuck in Pending

If your transaction remains unconfirmed:

  1. Check confirmation status

    • Locate your transaction hash (TXID) in the app

    • Search for it on the relevant blockchain explorer (Etherscan, BSCScan, etc.)

  2. Network congestion

    • High network traffic may cause delays

    • Check the current network status

  3. Accelerate or cancel

    • Some networks allow transaction replacement with higher fees

    • Look for "Speed Up" or "Cancel" options in your transaction details

Transaction Failed

Common reasons for failed transactions:

  • Insufficient gas/network fees

  • Network congestion

  • Smart contract execution errors

  • Insufficient token balance for gas fees

Balance Discrepancies

If your balance appears incorrect:

  1. Refresh your wallet

    • Pull down on the home screen to manually refresh
